This session is one of a series of six sessions for nursing homes to support implementation of principles and practices of antibiotic stewarship and prevention and management of C. This session incorporates specific strategies and principles tailored to the long-term care (LTC) environment. The session will provide an overview of the TeamSTEPPS® framework and competencies and explore specific TeamSTEPPS® tools and strategies as a way to improve teamwork and enhance resident safety. It is designed to help train nursing home staff in teamwork and communication using specific evidence-based tools and strategies which are a part of TeamSTEPPS® 2.0.
